Abstract: -
Nezara viridula (L.) is a cosmopolitan, polyphagous heteropteran that causes economic damage to many crop species. It is predominant in most of the warmer regions, damaging a wide variety of fruits. In the present study, N.viridula insect pest was recorded for the first time. It belongs to the family Pentatomidae . This is a polyphagus vegetable pest that mainly occurs on brinjal and okra vegetable crops. It is a sap-sucking insect pest that causes severe damage and economic losses.
