Abstract

The process of solving nonlinear equations is central to many scientific and engineering problems. Numerous iterative methods have been proposed to find the roots of such equations. This paper aims to review and analyze existing root-finding algorithms, with an emphasis on the comparative performance of these methods. The work considers methods such as the Bisection Method, Newton-Raphson Method, and Secant Method, and evaluates their convergence rates and applicability. In particular, we propose a novel algorithm that builds upon existing methods and seeks to improve the convergence behavior for nonlinear equations, especially in complex real-world scenarios.

Full Article/Conclusion

This paper provides a comprehensive review of iterative methods for solving nonlinear equations and introduces a novel algorithm that combines the strengths of existing methods. The proposed method offers improved convergence and computational efficiency, making it a promising tool for solving complex nonlinear equations in various fields. Future work will involve extensive testing and refinement of the algorithm to validate its effectiveness in real-world applications.
