The proposed model integrates real-time data such as disaster severity, conflict intensity, weather conditions, regional infrastructure, and shelter capacity to improve prediction accuracy during humanitarian crises. It uses artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to estimate refugee movement, camp occupancy, and resource needs. A user-friendly dashboard prototype has been developed to display forecasts, migration routes, shelter availability, and resource allocation plans, enabling decision-makers to respond quickly and effectively. The system is designed to support governments, NGOs, and international organizations in making informed, data-driven humanitarian decisions. By reducing uncertainty and improving preparedness, it can help minimize human suffering, optimize relief operations, and ensure aid reaches the maximum number of people in need. The model also assists in planning transportation, safe relocation, and emergency supply distribution during crises. This research highlights the transformative potential of AI and analytics in refugee crisis management, disaster response, and humanitarian planning, making relief efforts faster, smarter, and more efficient for affected populations worldwide.
KEYWORDS
The rising occurrence of conflicts, political turmoil, and climate-induced disasters has turned refugee displacement into a pressing global issue, where conventional response mechanisms frequently fall short and are merely reactive. This research introduces a machine learning-driven Refugee Movement Prediction and Resource Planning System that leverages historical displacement data to anticipate future refugee numbers and assess the necessary resources, such as food, water, shelter, and medical supplies. The suggested method combines time-series forecasting through ensemble learning with simulation-based resource estimation to facilitate proactive humanitarian planning. By merging predictive analytics with a web-based visualization platform, the system empowers data-informed decision-making for governments and aid organizations. The findings highlight the capability of such frameworks to enhance preparedness, streamline resource distribution, and improve the effectiveness of humanitarian response strategies.
