In recent years, the cosmetic industry has seen a significant shift toward herbal formulations due to the adverse effects associated with synthetic chemicals—such as parabens, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances—which often cause skin irritation and long-term toxicity. Shaving creams, being daily-use products, require a formulation that ensures both skin protection and effective hair removal. The primary objective of this research was to formulate and evaluate a polyherbal shaving cream using natural extracts known for their antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing properties. The study concludes that the developed herbal shaving cream is a safe, effective, and economical alternative to synthetic counterparts. By integrating traditional herbal knowledge with modern pharmaceutical techniques, this formulation provides a soothing shaving experience while minimizing the risk of chemical-induced skin damage.
