Globalization has brought about notable changes in the Indian start-up ecosystem in relation to international markets, as well as international sources of funding and technology. Indian start-ups are now able to use their competitive advantage and global networks at the same time for international growth and expansion. Though globalization brings about numerous advantages, complexities, fierce competition, and reliance on international funding also accompany it. This research focuses on the positive and the negative aspects of globalization, especially growth opportunities and competitive challenges, on Indian start-ups. This research is founded on primary data analysis from 200 start-up founders and on secondary data analysis of industry reports. Some of the tools chiefly employed in the research include percent-based analysis and the chi-square test. The research findings indicate enhancement of the ability to innovate and increased levels of access to more than one market globally. Simultaneously, the study found that start-ups are more exposed to the global economic uncertainties.
