The findings indicate that green banking has enhanced customer convenience, operational efficiency, and environmental conservation while encouraging sustainable financial behaviour and supporting long-term banking development.
KEYWORDS
The study concludes that Green Banking has become an important component of sustainable banking in India. Both SBI and ICICI Bank have successfully implemented environmentally responsible banking practices through digital banking, paperless transactions, green financing, and customer-focused sustainability initiatives.
