Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most influential technological developments shaping modern Human Resource Management (HRM). Organizations across industries are increasingly integrating AI-powered tools into recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, workforce planning, and administrative processes. The adoption of AI has transformed traditional HR functions by enabling faster decision-making, reducing repetitive tasks, improving workforce analytics, and enhancing the overall employee experience. This study examines the impact of Artificial Intelligence on Human Resource Management using secondary data collected from scholarly journals, industry reports, books, and reliable online publications. The objective is to understand how AI contributes to improving HR efficiency while identifying the opportunities and challenges associated with its adoption. It also highlights the importance of balancing technological innovation with human judgment to ensure fair and ethical HR practices. The findings indicate that AI significantly enhances the speed, accuracy, and effectiveness of HR activities by automating routine tasks, supporting data-driven decision-making, and providing personalized employee services. Nevertheless, successful implementation requires transparent policies, continuous employee training, responsible data management, and regular monitoring of AI systems to minimize bias and maintain trust. The study concludes that AI should be viewed as a supportive tool that strengthens, rather than replaces, the strategic and people-oriented role of Human Resource Management. Organizations that adopt AI responsibly are likely to achieve sustainable competitive advantage while fostering an inclusive and employee-centric work environment.

Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a transformative force in Human Resource Management, enabling organizations to modernize traditional HR practices and improve overall organizational effectiveness. The findings of this study, based on secondary data, demonstrate that AI has positively influenced key HR functions such as recruitment and selection, employee training and development, performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement. By automating repetitive administrative tasks and providing data-driven insights, AI enables HR professionals to make faster, more accurate, and strategic decisions while allowing them to focus on activities that contribute to organizational growth and employee development. The study also reveals that AI is not intended to replace human resource professionals but to complement their expertise. Although AI can process large volumes of data and support objective decision-making, essential HR responsibilities such as leadership, employee counselling, conflict resolution, ethical judgment, and relationship building continue to require human involvement. Therefore, the most effective HR practices are achieved when technological capabilities are combined with human experience, empathy, and sound managerial judgment. Despite its numerous advantages, the adoption of AI presents important challenges, including concerns related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, cybersecurity, transparency, and employee acceptance. These issues highlight the need for organizations to implement AI responsibly by establishing ethical guidelines, maintaining robust data protection measures, regularly evaluating AI systems, and providing continuous training to HR professionals and employees. In conclusion, Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the future of Human Resource Management by improving efficiency, enhancing decision-making, and supporting strategic workforce management. Organizations that integrate AI responsibly while preserving human values and ethical standards are more likely to achieve sustainable growth, improve employee satisfaction, and maintain a competitive advantage in an increasingly digital business environment. Continued research and responsible innovation will further strengthen the role of AI in creating more effective, inclusive, and people-cantered HR practices.
