In today’s digital era, social media marketing has become a crucial tool for enhancing brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. Platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn enable organizations to connect with their target audience effectively and measure marketing outcomes. This study evaluates the effectiveness of social media marketing campaigns for Advaith Hyundai and Credvest, focusing on engagement, reach, and conversion rates. A descriptive research design was adopted, and data was collected from 100 respondents using questionnaires, along with secondary sources. The findings indicate that Instagram is the most preferred platform due to its visually engaging content and higher user activity, making it effective for brand awareness and lead generation. In contrast, LinkedIn demonstrates higher credibility and professional engagement, making it more effective for building trust and influencing final purchase decisions. Video content, especially short-form formats like reels, was found to be the most impactful, while informational content and testimonials also play a key role in influencing users. The analysis further reveals that Instagram performs strongly in the initial stages of the marketing funnel by attracting attention and generating engagement, whereas LinkedIn is more effective in converting leads into actual customers. This highlights the complementary role of both platforms in achieving overall marketing success. In conclusion, the study suggests that businesses should adopt an integrated and platform-specific strategy by leveraging Instagram for engagement and LinkedIn for conversions. Focusing on high-quality content, customer interaction, and data-driven decision-making can significantly enhance the effectiveness of social media marketing campaigns and contribute to long-term business growth.
KEYWORDS
The present study clearly establishes that social media marketing has become a powerful and indispensable tool in influencing customer behavior, particularly in terms of engagement, reach, and conversion outcomes. Platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn play a crucial role in shaping how businesses communicate with their target audience and achieve marketing objectives. The findings indicate that Instagram is highly effective in the initial stages of the marketing funnel, where the primary goal is to create awareness and capture user attention. Its visually appealing features, including reels, stories, and interactive posts, make it an ideal platform for engaging a wide audience. Instagram helps businesses generate interest, increase brand visibility, and attract potential customers through creative and engaging content strategies. In contrast, LinkedIn proves to be more effective in the later stages of the customer decision-making process. It serves as a platform for building trust, credibility, and professional relationships. Users on LinkedIn are more inclined toward meaningful interactions and informed decision-making, which results in higher-quality leads and better conversion outcomes. This makes LinkedIn particularly valuable for industries that rely on trust and information, such as financial services. For organizations like Advaith Hyundai and Credvest, the study highlights the importance of adopting a dual-platform strategy. Instagram can be effectively utilized to generate traffic, increase engagement, and create brand awareness, while LinkedIn can be leveraged to nurture leads, build credibility, and convert prospects into customers.
