The income tax reforms in India have changed how things work. The Government of India has made the income tax process much easier and more efficient. The new tax regime and digitization are helpful for taxpayers. They make things simpler and faster. The impact of these changes varies for income groups. People who get salaries and do not get any tax benefits find the new tax regime more useful. The reforms have also made things reduced tax evasion. Some people still face problems like not knowing about the changes, not being good with technology and not being able to choose the right tax regime. In short, the income tax reforms have greatly improved India’s tax system. More improvements and simpler policies are needed for the reforms to be successful. The Government of India and the Income Tax Department of India must continue to work on making the income tax process easier and more efficient.
