Abstract â The exponential growth of scientific publications poses a challenge for researchers to stay updated on breakthroughs in their fields. Text summarization addresses this by providing concise summaries of important contributions. Abstractive Text Summarization (ATS) is a cutting-edge method that generates summaries by creating new sentences rather than extracting existing ones. It enables computers to understand text and produce unbiased, human-like summaries automatically. In this paper we intend to present the text summarization methods and procedures suggested in various research papers along with their pros, and future scope.
