The rapid growth of digital technologies, mobile connectivity, and data-driven services has created new opportunities to improve the agricultural sector. However, farmers still face major challenges such as lack of timely crop guidance, uncertain weather conditions, fluctuating market prices, and limited awareness of government schemes. Traditional agricultural advisory systems are often fragmented, slow, and dependent on manual support, which makes it difficult for farmers to take quick and informed decisions. To overcome these challenges, this project proposes an AI Based Farmer Query and Advisory System that provides intelligent, reliable, and real-time agricultural assistance. The proposed system integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to understand farmer queries related to crops, weather, market trends, and government schemes. By analysis user queries and agricultural data, the system generates accurate and easy-to-understand advisory recommendations. The platform supports a centralized approach where farmers can access multiple services through a single interface without relying on middlemen. The effectiveness of the proposed system is evaluated through simulated farmer queries and advisory responses. The results show that the AI-based system improves response accuracy, reduces information delay, and enhances farmer decision-making efficiency compared to traditional advisory methods. This project demonstrates that integrating AI-driven query analysis with agricultural advisory services can significantly empower farmers, improve productivity, and promote sustainable farming practices in rural and semi-urban areas.
KEYWORDS
This paper presented an AI-Based Farmer Query and Advisory System designed to provide accurate, context-aware, and personalized agricultural guidance. By integrating AI-driven query analysis, behavioral modeling, and contextual interpretation, the proposed system moves beyond traditional static advisory platforms, enabling real-time and practical recommendations for farmers. The experimental evaluation demonstrated that the AI-driven system achieves higher advisory accuracy and relevance compared to conventional rule-based or keyword-matching systems. Contextual interpretation based on crop type, season, location, and historical query patterns proved effective in delivering personalized guidance, improving farmer satisfaction and engagement. Response latency remained low, ensuring real-time interaction suitable for mobile and web interfaces. Furthermore, the integration of AI-driven decision-making with a dynamic agricultural knowledge base enhances advisory automation while maintaining flexibility and adaptability. By continuously learning from new queries and environmental conditions, the system strengthens its capability to provide actionable guidance for diverse farming scenarios, including rare crops and emerging pest or disease patterns. Overall, the findings confirm that AI-driven farmer advisory systems represent a scalable, practical, and effective approach for delivering intelligent agricultural support. The proposed framework bridges the gap between automated query understanding and actionable guidance, offering a future-ready solution to enhance farming productivity, sustainability, and decision-making.
