AI-Powered Recommendation System for Trip Planning is an intelligent travel recommendation and trip planning system designed to simplify the process of planning personalized trips for travelers. Traditional trip planning often requires users to search multiple platforms for destinations, hotels, transportation, food options, and travel information, making the process time-consuming and complex. The proposed system integrates Artificial Intelligence techniques to automatically generate customized travel itineraries based on user preferences such as source location, destination, budget, trip duration, and travel interests. The system provides recommendations for tourist attractions, hotels, transportation facilities, local food specialties, and hidden travel destinations while optimizing the travel schedule according to user requirements. The platform is implemented as a web-based application with a modern and interactive user interface, enabling users to plan, manage, and customize their trips efficiently. Additional features such as AI-powered travel assistance, interactive maps, hotel recommendation and booking simulation, Wishlist management, Foodie Corner, notification-based offers, hidden gems exploration, and travel personality analysis enhance the overall user experience. The system utilizes React for frontend development, FastAPI/Python for backend services, and machine learning-based recommendation techniques for intelligent decision-making. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the proposed system provides accurate travel recommendations, improves user convenience, and reduces the effort required for trip planning. The developed solution serves as a comprehensive travel companion that assists users before and during their journeys.
