Air pollution has become one of the most serious environmental challenges, posing significant risks to human health and the ecosystem. To address this issue, this paper presents the design and development of a portable air quality monitoring system integrated with Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. The device is capable of measuring the concentration of key gases such as Oxygen (Oâ), Carbon Dioxide (COâ), and Carbon Monoxide (CO) in real time using high-accuracy gas sensors. A microcontroller-based unit processes the sensor data and associates it with precise location information obtained from the GPS module. The system is designed to be compact, low-cost, and energyefficient, making it suitable for personal, industrial, and environmental applications. The recorded data can be transmitted wirelessly or stored locally, enabling detailed analysis and visualization of air quality trends. By combining IoT and GPS technologies, this portable monitoring system provides users with accurate and location-aware insights into air pollution levels, supporting smarter environmental management and awareness initiatives.
