Women's participation in financial investments has increased considerably due to higher financial literacy, economic independence, and growing awareness of wealth creation. This study analyses the investment behaviour, awareness, preferences, risk perception, and satisfaction levels of female investors with reference to Tata Mutual Fund. A descriptive research design was adopted using primary and secondary data collected from 100 female investors through a structured questionnaire. The original project employed Percentage Analysis and Tabular Analysis for interpreting the collected data. The findings indicate that professional fund management, financial security, diversification, and long-term wealth creation significantly influence women investors' preference for Tata Mutual Fund schemes.
KEYWORDS
Women investors have become an increasingly significant segment of the Indian mutual fund industry due to higher financial awareness, economic independence, and growing participation in financial planning. The study indicates that female investors possess satisfactory awareness regarding mutual fund investments and generally demonstrate positive perceptions towards Tata Mutual Fund schemes. Professional fund management, financial security, diversification, long-term wealth creation, and investment convenience are the major factors influencing investment decisions. The findings also reveal that financial literacy and digital investment platforms have positively contributed to increased participation among women investors. Most respondents express satisfaction with Tata Mutual Fund's investment performance, customer service, and accessibility. Continuous investor education, technology-enabled investment services, and women-focused financial awareness initiatives will further strengthen participation in mutual fund investments. Overall, Tata Mutual Fund plays an important role in promoting financial inclusion, wealth creation, and long-term financial empowerment among women investors.
