It examines the potential benefits, such as increased productivity, improved quality, and reduced operational costs, as well as potential challenges, including initial investment costs and job displacement. By analysing various economic factors and conducting a comprehensive case study of the Salem Steel Plant, this study aims to provide valuable insights into the economic viability and social impact of such a shift.
