Abstract

Training and development have become strategic Human Resource Management practices that enhance employee skills, productivity, service quality, and organizational performance in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry. This study analyses the effectiveness of training and development programmes at Capgemini by examining induction training, technical training, behavioural development, leadership programmes, digital learning, employee satisfaction, and organizational performance. A descriptive research design was adopted using both primary and secondary data collected from 100 employees through a structured questionnaire. For analytical purposes, Paired Sample t-Test was applied to evaluate the impact of training programmes on employee performance before and after training. The findings indicate that structured training programmes significantly improve employee knowledge, technical competence, communication skills, productivity, job satisfaction, and career development. The study concludes that continuous investment in employee training and development strengthens workforce capability, organizational competitiveness, and long-term business success in the BPO industry.
