In recent times with the growing population of the country the supply and demand of fruits and vegetables has increased immensely. With the increase in demand, we also experience issues that come with the supply chain in the F&V sector. This is a descriptive study which focuses on the roadblocks in the F&V sector in India mainly related to its supply chain management. In this quantitative study we have divided our problem into three different sections: (i) A Basic Review of the Difficulties that the Indian F&V Supply Chain is dealing with. (ii) Disruptions in the supply chain of India’s organised retail sector for fruits and vegetables. (iii) The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the organised retail segment’s supply chain. We also get an idea of where the F&V sector stands with respect to supply chain through this study.
