Abstract

Architectural visualization traditionally demands high-performance hardware and expensive infrastructure subscriptions, creating a significant "Infrastructure Tax" for independent developers. This paper introduces ArchLens AI, a production-grade Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application that revolutionizes architectural planning by transforming 2D floor plans into photorealistic 3D renders. Utilizing a "Zero-Infrastructure" model via Puter.js, the system operates on a decentralized, user-pays cloud environment, eliminating costs for database hosting and API management. The core engine leverages Gemini 2.5 Flash for spatial interpretation and geometric reconstruction. Results demonstrate that the framework provides instantaneous, high-fidelity visualizations while maintaining 100% geometric adherence to source sketches. This work establishes a scalable blueprint for deploying complex AI solutions with zero initial capital investment.

Full Article/Conclusion

ArchLens AI successfully implements a full-stack architectural visualization tool with zero overhead. By combining serverless workers, KV metadata tracking, and generative AI, the project proves that developers can ship professional-grade software by focusing on core product engineering rather than infrastructure management. Future work will focus on integrating real-time 3D walkthroughs and extending the serverless model to mobile platforms.
