Efficient water management and real-time monitoring are critical challenges in modern agriculture. This project proposes a Smart Farming System that automates irrigation and monitors environmental conditions using embedded systems and sensor technology. The system continuously measures soil moisture, temperature, and humidity using appropriate sensors. A microcontroller processes this data and makes decisions based on predefined threshold values. When the soil moisture level falls below the required limit, the system automatically activates a water pump through a relay module, ensuring optimal irrigation. Additionally, the system provides real-time feedback through a display unit or IoT platform, enabling farmers to monitor field conditions remotely. The proposed solution minimizes water wastage, reduces manual effort, and enhances crop productivity, making it suitable for sustainable agriculture.
