The objective of this study is to examine the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption on the growth of emerging Indian startups. The study is based on the hypothesis that AI adoption positively influences startup growth through improved operational efficiency, innovation capability, customer engagement, and decision-making effectiveness. A quantitative research design was employed using survey data collected from 250 founders and senior managers of Indian startups operating in technology-enabled sectors. Statistical analyses including descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression were conducted to evaluate the relationship between AI adoption and startup performance indicators. The results reveal that AI adoption significantly contributes to startup growth by enhancing productivity, accelerating innovation, reducing operational costs, and improving customer experience. Startups with higher levels of AI integration demonstrated superior revenue growth and market expansion compared to startups with lower AI adoption levels. The findings suggest that AI serves as a strategic resource capable of generating competitive advantages in dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems. This study contributes to the growing literature on digital transformation and entrepreneurship by providing empirical evidence from emerging Indian startups. The findings offer practical insights for entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers seeking to strengthen startup ecosystems through AI-enabled innovation and sustainable growth.
