Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative technology in Human Resource Management (HRM), particularly in recruitment and talent acquisition. Organizations are increasingly adopting AI-driven tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), resume screening software, predictive analytics, and recruitment chatbots to improve hiring efficiency and decision-making. This research paper examines the impact of AI on recruitment processes at mPHATEK Systems Pvt. Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra. The study focuses on recruitment efficiency, quality of hiring, time-to-hire, and candidate experience. A descriptive and analytical research methodology was adopted using primary data collected through structured questionnaires from HR professionals and recruiters. The findings reveal that AI significantly improves recruitment efficiency, reduces hiring time, enhances candidate engagement, and supports data-driven hiring decisions. However, concerns related to algorithmic bias, data privacy, and excessive dependence on automation were also identified. The study concludes that AI acts as a strategic enabler in modern recruitment practices when integrated with human judgment and ethical governance. The paper provides practical recommendations for organizations aiming to implement AI-driven recruitment systems effectively.
