Abstract

The increasing depletion of fossil fuels and the environmental impact of conventional internal combustion engines have encouraged the development of alternative energy technologies. One promising technology is the compressed air engine, which uses compressed air as a working fluid instead of fossil fuels. This paper presents the design, working principle, automation system, and performance analysis of an automated compressed air engine intended for sustainable industrial applications. The proposed system uses high-pressure compressed air stored in tanks and controlled through automated valves to drive a piston engine. Experimental analysis evaluates parameters such as torque, efficiency, and air consumption. Results indicate that compressed air engines offer zero emissions, low maintenance, and cost-effective operation, making them suitable for light industrial machines and green mobility applications.

Full Article/Conclusion

The automated compressed air engine provides a promising solution for sustainable industrial applications. By eliminating fuel combustion and using compressed air as the energy source, it significantly reduces environmental impact. With improved automation and optimized design, compressed air engines can serve as an effective alternative for low-power industrial systems.
