Hyperparameter tuning is a critical step in developing effective machine learning models, as it directly influences their predictive performance. Traditional approaches such as manual tuning, grid search, and random search often require extensive computational resources and time. This paper presents Bayesian Optimization as an efficient and intelligent alternative for automating the hyperparameter selection process. The method utilizes probabilistic models to explore the search space and identify optimal parameter configurations with fewer evaluations. Experimental results demonstrate that Bayesian Optimization achieves higher accuracy in fewer iterations compared to conventional methods. Additionally, it reduces computational cost while improving model efficiency. The study highlights the importance of automated optimization techniques in modern machine learning workflows and their role in enabling scalable and high-performance AI systems.

Hyperparameter tuning plays a vital role in improving machine learning model performance. Traditional approaches are often inefficient and resource-intensive. Bayesian Optimization provides a more effective solution by intelligently exploring the search space using probabilistic models. The results show that it achieves better accuracy with fewer iterations and lower computational cost. This makes it a valuable tool for modern AI applications. Future integration with automated machine learning systems will further streamline the development of high-performance models.
