The goal of this work is to investigate the use of image processing in the development of an effective automated mechanical garbage sorting system for mixed medical waste. Paper, plastics, and glass are frequently left uncollected and unsorted from medical waste because of their danger and the lack of an efficient and cost-effective waste sorting process. This document explains how to sort garbage, which is the first step toward recycling. A computer vision-based intelligent system is being developed to distinguish components with characteristics on the sorting manufacturing line (conveyor belt). For the experimenting phase, many forms and sizes are employed. The suggested method was experimentally validated using a paper and plastic prototype device. The suggested algorithm is validated by the experimental findings.
