The rise of the internet and digitization has led to various aspects of our daily lives going online, including the electoral process. Electronic voting, or e-Voting, has been gaining popularity in recent years due to its potential to increase voter turnout and provide greater accessibility. However, traditional e-Voting systems have been plagued with issues related to security, transparency, and trustworthiness. Blockchain technology, on the other hand, offers a promising solution to these challenges by providing a decentralized and tamper-proof ledger that can enable secure and transparent e-Voting. In this research paper, we provide an overview of blockchain technology and its potential for revolutionizing the e-Voting system. We also discuss the challenges and limitations of blockchain e-Voting and provide recommendations for future research.
