The rapid growth of blockchain technology has accelerated the adoption of decentralized financial systems and token-based digital economies. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of an Ethereum-based ERC-20 cryptocurrency framework with emphasis on smart contract performance, transaction security, and decentralized user interaction. The proposed system utilizes Solidity smart contracts integrated with Web3.py, MetaMask, and a Flask-based application layer to facilitate secure token transactions over a blockchain network. The study evaluates the efficiency of token transfers, wallet authentication mechanisms, and blockchain transparency while examining common security challenges associated with decentralized applications. Experimental observations demonstrate that blockchain-enabled token systems can provide reliable, transparent, and tamper-resistant transaction management without dependence on centralized authorities. The findings highlight the significance of secure smart contract design, efficient blockchain integration, and user-centric decentralized architectures for future financial applications. This work contributes to the growing field of decentralized finance by providing insights into the deployment, evaluation, and enhancement of blockchain-based token ecosystems.
KEYWORDS
This study examined the implementation and evaluation of an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token framework designed to support secure and decentralized digital transactions. By integrating Solidity smart contracts, MetaMask wallet authentication, Web3.py communication protocols, and a Flask-based application layer, the proposed system demonstrated an effective approach for managing digital assets within a blockchain environment. The framework successfully enabled transparent token transfers, decentralized user authentication, and secure transaction processing without dependence on centralized authorities. The research highlighted the importance of smart contract reliability, blockchain transparency, and secure wallet integration in decentralized financial applications. Analysis of existing literature and system implementation revealed that while blockchain technology offers significant advantages such as immutability, decentralization, and trustless operations, challenges related to security vulnerabilities, scalability, and transaction efficiency still require continuous attention. The adoption of proper testing, auditing, and verification mechanisms is essential for ensuring the robustness of blockchain-based systems. Overall, the findings demonstrate that ERC-20 token ecosystems provide a strong foundation for developing next-generation decentralized financial services. The proposed framework serves as a practical model for understanding blockchain integration, smart contract deployment, and Web3 application development. Future work may focus on enhancing scalability, implementing advanced security auditing techniques, optimizing transaction costs, and incorporating intelligent monitoring systems to further improve the performance and reliability of decentralized financial platforms.
