` Burnout is a state of emotional physical and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. Burnout leads to extreme exhaustion and reduced performance. This research paper will discuss the concept of burnout, factors leading to teachers burnout . In present scenario the teachers are in a state of overburden, less paid and not satisfied due to which teachers are in a state of burnout. This paper will discuss about the factors leading to teachers burnout. In order to investigate the levels of professional burnout in the context of state school teachers, the present study is aimed to identify the specific factors that exacerbate teacher burnout.
