Abstract

CampusBot is an intelligent, full-stack educational technology solution engineered to bridge the communication and information latency gaps prevalent in higher education admissions and campus operations. Traditional college helpdesks suffer from severe query backlogs, restricted operational hours, and high manual staff overhead during admission cycles. CampusBot addresses these bottlenecks by deploying a lightweight, high-performance conversational AI engine built upon a hybrid NLP architecture combining tokenized Jaccard similarity, weighted multi-intent keyword categorization, and pluggable Large Language Model (Google Gemini / OpenAI) hooks. The system provides an end-to-end web portal featuring interactive academic course catalogs, 4-stage admissions tracking roadmaps, interactive placement analytics powered by Chart.js, accessibility-compliant voice interaction via the Web Speech API (STT/TTS), and a secure administrative dashboard for real-time lead monitoring, FAQ CRUD lifecycle, and conversation telemetry. Empirical testing demonstrates a 96.4% intent recognition accuracy with sub-15ms local response latencies, proving CampusBot to be an efficient, scalable, and resilient assistant for modern institutions.

Full Article/Conclusion

The CampusBot project successfully engineered and validated an intelligent, full-stack college enquiry assistant that eliminates information latency for prospective applicants and reduces administrative workload for institutional staff. Through its multi-intent NLP engine, native Web Speech integration, responsive glassmorphic UI, and comprehensive administrative CMS, the system delivers an end-to-end EdTech solution ready for live campus deployment.
