Crime has become a growing concern in urban and rural regions alike, posing significant challenges to law enforcement agencies and policymakers. The analysis and forecasting of crime rates through data-driven methods is the main topic of this paper. This study intends to uncover crime patterns, hotspot regions, and temporal trends by utilizing statistical approaches, machine learning techniques, and historical crime data. The system integrates real-time data (where available) and uses predictive models to forecast the likelihood of various types of crimes in specific areas. The primary goal is to assist authorities in making informed decisions, optimizing resource allocation, and improving public safety. The project also highlights key socio- economic factors influencing crime, providing a comprehensive overview of crime dynamics. The solution guarantees usability and accessibility for law enforcement and urban planners with the right visualization tools and dashboards.
