Abstract

Introduction Mergers and Acquisitions represent pivotal strategies for organizations aiming to expand market reach, consolidate resources, or acquire new technologies. Within the intricate landscape of M&A, data migration emerges as a critical process, particularly for organizations utilizing SAP systems. Data migration in this context involves the transfer of data from legacy systems to a unified SAP environment, or the separation of data as entities split. Effective data migration strategies are paramount to ensuring business continuity, minimizing disruption, and maximizing the value derived from the integration or separation of SAP systems.
