Breast cancer is one of the top causes of cancer deaths in women. Early detection and precise classification increase breast cancer survival and therapy. Traditional diagnostic methods including biopsy, mammography, and histopathology require professional interpretation and variability. Recent deep learning advances allow automatic and accurate image-based cancer classification. This research proposes a medical imaging dataset-based deep learning breast cancer classification framework. The suggested method classifies benign and malignant tumours using convolutional neural networks and transfer learning. Experimental results show increased performance above standard machine learning. The study shows that deep learning models can support clinical oncology decision-making.
KEYWORDS
CNN and transfer learning were used to classify breast cancer using deep learning. The suggested system has great diagnostic accuracy and clinical decision support capabilities. Integrating multimodal data like clinical and genomic features, using vision transformer architectures for feature extraction, federated learning for hospital privacy, and improving explainability for clinical adoption are future goals. .
