Abstract

Modern restaurants are increasingly adopting digital solutions as customer expectations for convenience, faster service, and online accessibility continue to grow. Many restaurants still rely on disconnected applications for billing, booking, customer communication, and order handling, which often causes delays, duplicate records, and inefficient coordination between departments. This project introduces a centralized digital restaurant ecosystem that combines restaurant administration, customer interaction, reporting mechanisms, and AI-based assistance within a single platform. The application architecture was designed using React and Vite for interface development, Flask for backend processing, and MySQL for persistent data storage. A lightweight intelligent chatbot module was additionally incorporated to respond to customer requests such as menu guidance, reservation information, and order updates. The developed system demonstrates how integrating multiple operational services into one application can simplify restaurant management activities, reduce manual dependency, and provide a smoother experience for both administrators and customers.

Full Article/Conclusion

This project presents the development of a centralized restaurant management application designed to simplify restaurant operations through digital integration and automation. The proposed system combines reservation handling, order management, analytics, customer interaction, and AI-supported assistance within a single architecture. The implementation demonstrates that integrating multiple restaurant services into one platform improves workflow coordination and enhances overall operational efficiency. Technologies such as React, Flask, and MySQL proved suitable for building scalable and maintainable web applications in the hospitality domain. The chatbot functionality additionally improved user interaction by providing quick responses and reducing customer waiting time for basic support requests. The proposed system provides a framework for developing advanced hospitality management solutions that incorporate advanced analytics, intelligent recommendation systems, and enhanced AI capabilities. The research indicates that integrated restaurant systems can improve customer experience and overall operational coordination, and support modern customer expectations in the hospitality industry.
