Agriculture is undergoing a significant transformation through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), and data analytics technologies. Traditional farming practices often face challenges such as soil degradation, inefficient fertilizer usage, unpredictable climatic conditions, and inaccurate crop yield estimation. This research proposes a Smart Agriculture framework based on AI-enabled soil diagnostics and crop forecasting to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability. The proposed system collects real-time soil parameters, including pH, moisture content, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium (NPK) levels, temperature, and humidity through IoT-based sensors. Machine learning algorithms analyze these parameters to assess soil health, recommend suitable crops, and predict future crop yields. Additionally, weather data and historical agricultural records are integrated to improve forecasting accuracy. The framework employs predictive analytics techniques to support precision farming, optimize resource utilization, reduce production costs, and increase crop productivity. Experimental analysis demonstrates that AI-based soil diagnostics significantly improve soil assessment accuracy, while crop forecasting models provide reliable yield predictions for informed decision-making. The findings indicate that the adoption of AI-driven smart agriculture systems can contribute to sustainable farming practices, enhanced food security, and efficient agricultural management. The study highlights the potential of intelligent technologies in transforming conventional agriculture into a data-driven and environmentally sustainable ecosystem.

Agriculture is facing increasing challenges due to population growth, climate change, soil degradation, and limited natural resources. The adoption of Artificial Intelligence and related digital technologies provides an effective solution to address these challenges through data-driven and intelligent farming practices. This study proposed an AI-enabled Smart Agriculture framework for soil diagnostics and crop forecasting that integrates IoT sensors, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed system effectively analyzed soil health conditions, identified nutrient deficiencies, recommended suitable crops, and accurately predicted crop yields. The Random Forest algorithm achieved high accuracy in soil fertility classification, while the LSTM model delivered superior crop yield forecasting performance. Additionally, the system optimized fertilizer and water usage, reduced operational costs, and enhanced resource efficiency. The findings confirm that AI-enabled soil diagnostics and crop forecasting can significantly improve agricultural decision-making, increase productivity, and support sustainable farming practices. The integration of intelligent technologies into agriculture not only enhances farm management but also contributes to food security and environmental conservation. Therefore, the widespread adoption of AI-based smart agriculture systems can play a vital role in transforming traditional farming into a more efficient, productive, and sustainable agricultural ecosystem.
