In recent years, industry and daily routine tasks have increasingly adopted automation through robots. The pick-and-place robot is one of the key technologies used in manufacturing industries, designed to perform precise pick-and-place operations. This work highlights the importance of safety at the workplace and in surrounding environments, enabling the handling of specific tasks such as deploying a robotic vehicle into hazardous areas to collect samples for chemical analysis. The system operates through a control mechanism that works in coordination with a wired remote. It includes a remote module that functions as the receiver for the vehicle, sending commands to the controller, which executes actions based on the received signals.
KEYWORDS
The first objective of the project was to design a working robotics arm with ability to perform sense-pick-and-place function. To design a working robotic arm with ability to perform sense-pick-and-place function. The design of the robotic are was stared from the prototyping stage. Drawings and assembly schematics were generated as design data to be kept for future reference if improvements were to be done to enhance the developed device in any possible way. Therefore, the first and third objectives were achieved. The prototype of the robotic arm was successfully developed and it was able to sense-pick-and-place function. It was tested to give a clearer image on its overall reliability. The overall successful rate of the robotic arm to perform its tasks correctly was 90%. The second objective of the project is to do analysis of mechanical properties of the design of the robotic arm. Calculations were done for the required shear stress on the finger gripper connection hole. This procedure was important to know about shear stress for the gripper. The second objective of the project was therefore achieved. • In this work we made a Pick and place robot controlled by remote application. We know that the whole the digital devices in the world are transformed in to based systems ,as it is more versatile ,flexible and easy to control. Here The Pick and place robot is controlled wire by an remote module. • The main feature of this pick and place robot is the soft catching arm or soft catching Gripper. We know that when handling the explosive items like bomb it should be handled carefully. • Excessive pressure will cause explosion. So it is very essential to have a soft catching arm. This robot has remote control based electrical pressure sensor which has higher sensitivity than mechanical pressure sensors. • This is designed to handle a maximum weight of 2 kg. The weight handling capacity of Pick and Place Robot is determined by the capacity of DC motors used. • Very useful and interesting can be made by interfacing , Pick and Place Robot‟ with explosive detectors, metal detectors, wireless cameras, night vision cameras...Etc. for finding the bombs and proper visual assistance.
