The storage of perishable goods requires continuous monitoring of environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and gas levels. Traditional cold storage systems lack real-time monitoring, automation, and intelligent decision-making, leading to increased spoilage and losses. This paper presents the development and implementation of an IoT-enabled real-time cold storage monitoring and notification system. The system uses Arduino Mega, ESP8266 WiFi module, and multiple sensors such as DHT11 and gas sensors to monitor environmental parameters. The collected data is transmitted to the ThingSpeak cloud platform for remote monitoring and visualization. The system also incorporates automated control using Peltier modules and heating elements to maintain optimal conditions. Additionally, a machine learning model based on the Random Forest algorithm is used for intelligent decision-making. The proposed system ensures improved efficiency, reduced wastage, and reliable storage conditions.
