The manner in which consumers discover local businesses has undergone a fundamental transformation over the past two decades. The era of printed telephone directories and word-of-mouth referrals has given way to instant, location-aware digital searches conducted through mobile devices. This paper presents the design, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive digital business directory platform that bridges the gap between local enterprises and potential customers through intuitive search functionality, categorized listings, location-based discovery, and user feedback mechanisms. The platform employs a modular architecture supporting both free and paid listing models, enabling businesses of varying sizes to establish an online presence while creating sustainable revenue streams for the platform operator. Key contributions include the development of an adaptable architecture for hybrid monetization, a responsive user interface ensuring consistent experience across devices, and empirical analysis of platform effectiveness through user feedback and performance metrics. The findings demonstrate that digital directory platforms can significantly enhance business visibility, improve consumer discovery efficiency, and foster stronger local economic connections. The paid package model proved mutually beneficial, providing increased exposure for businesses while establishing operational sustainability for the platform.
