Abstract

This study investigates the influence of different heat treatment processes, namely annealing, normalizing, quenching, and tempering, on the microstructure and mechanical properties of medium carbon steel. Experimental analysis includes microstructural examination, tensile strength evaluation, and hardness testing. The findings provide significant insight into the optimization of mechanical properties for industrial applications involving medium carbon steel.
