Abstract

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has become an essential strategy for organizations seeking to build long-term relationships with customers and enhance customer retention. This study examines the effectiveness of CRM practices in improving customer retention by analyzing how personalized communication, service quality, customer engagement, and timely problem resolution influence customer loyalty. The research adopts a descriptive approach using both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to customers, while secondary data were obtained from journals, books, reports, and relevant online sources. The findings indicate that effective CRM practices significantly contribute to customer satisfaction and encourage repeat purchases, thereby strengthening customer retention. Customers who receive personalized attention and prompt support are more likely to remain loyal to a brand and recommend it to others. The study also reveals that technological tools integrated into CRM systems help organizations better understand customer needs, monitor customer interactions, and deliver improved services. Furthermore, strong CRM initiatives reduce customer switching behavior and create sustainable competitive advantages for businesses. The findings provide valuable insights for managers and organizations aiming to improve customer retention and build lasting customer relationships in an increasingly competitive market environment.
