A lot of people buy things online and pay through different websites. Some sites ask users for private details like usernames, passwords, or credit card numbers, but often they do this for bad reasons. These kinds of sites are called phishing websites. To catch and predict phishing sites, we built a smart, flexible, and effective system that works with a classification data mining algorithm. We ran classification algorithms and methods to pull out the phishing data set criteria and judge how legitimate a site really is. A phishing website can be spotted by looking at key traits such as its URL and domain identity, plus security and encryption features, which show up in the final detection rate. When a user pays through a website during an online transaction, our system checks it with the data mining algorithm to see if it's a phishing site or a safe one. Many E-commerce companies could use this tool to make their whole payment process safer. The data mining algorithm in this system performs better than older classification methods. With this system, users can also shop online without worrying (at least not as much). An admin can add phishing site URLs or fake website links into the system, and then it can access and scan those pages. Using the algorithm, the system will add new suspicious keywords to its database. The system also relies on machine learning to keep adding fresh keywords over time.

Conclusion The findings collectively of this research on detection using machine learning over phishing websites sum-marize well. As such, ML-based methods, as it had been in many of the referred works, offer a bright future in anti-phishing campaigns [1-10]. This again underscores the importance of feature engineering as well as proper selection of algorithms, reflecting an important focus in comparison studies of different algorithms ([1, 5, 6, 8, 9]) and discussed in broader reviews ([2, 3, 4, 10]). In the conclusion, the benefits of using diverse feature sets are stressed, combining URL-based features as emphasized in [7, 10] and content- and network-based features, a common practice in most studies ([1, 5, 8]). The superiority of ensemble methods such as Random Forest, typically shown in comparison studies ([1, 6]), is also mentioned. In addition, the conclusion points toward future directions by proposing the incorporation of real-time data feeds and active learning strategies for better adaptability, as has been touched upon in some review papers ([2, 3, 4, 10]). Finally, it stresses the need for continued innovation and collaboration to effectively counter the evolving nature of phishing attacks, a call implicitly supported by the ongoing research represented in the cited literature.
