This research paper presents a detailed analysis of ergonomic risk factors among foundry workers using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method. Foundry operations typically involve repetitive motions, awkward postures, and heavy lifting, all of which increase the likelihood of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). The RULA method, a widely recognized ergonomic assessment tool, was applied to evaluate risks associated with various tasks and workstations. Data were collected through direct observation and video analysis, and RULA scores were calculated to determine ergonomic risk levels. The results identify specific high-risk tasks and workstations, offering valuable insights for targeted ergonomic interventions aimed at improving workplace conditions and reducing the risk of MSDs among foundry workers.
