Electric vehicle (EV) battery monitoring and protection systems are crucial for ensuring the safety, reliability, and longevity of battery packs. In this study, we propose an integrated approach that leverages Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to monitor and protect EV batteries in real-time. The proposed system continuously collects data from various sensors embedded within the battery pack, including voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge (SoC). This data is transmitted to a centralized IoT platform for analysis and processing. Using AI algorithms, such as machine learning and deep learning models, the system analyzes the collected data to detect anomalies, predict potential failures, and optimize battery performance. Additionally, the system incorporates intelligent protection mechanisms to prevent overcharging, over-discharging, and overheating of the battery pack, thereby ensuring safe and efficient operation. The integration of IoT and AI technologies enables proactive monitoring and management of EV batteries, leading to improved safety, reliability, and lifespan. This study presents a comprehensive framework for EV battery monitoring and protection, highlighting the potential benefits of IoT and AI in advancing sustainable transportation.
