This study looks at the scope and difficulties of ecotourism in Nainital, Uttarakhand. Due to its potential for conservation, community development and economic advantages, ecotourism has drawn a lot of attention as a sustainable form of travel. Nainital, a well-known hill town in Uttarakhand, is a great place for ecotourism because of its abundance of natural scenery and wildlife. However, this analysis finds a number of obstacles to the region’s effective administration and implementation of ecotourism. The results emphasize the significance of striking a balance between tourism growth, environmental preservation, and community involvement. The assessment comes to a close with some recommendations for overcoming the difficulties and fostering sustainable ecotourism in Nainital.
