Abstract - The modern environment is demanding more and more creative composite materials that provide high mechanical and thermal qualities. Composites are favored over traditional materials because they improve the properties of the base material and have a broad range of applications. One of the primary benefits of utilizing composite materials over conventional materials for components is weight reduction. Composite materials can be stronger than conventional materials even though they are lighter. Chemical resistance and electrical insulation qualities are two more benefits of choosing a composite material over a traditional kind. The objective of the current study is to assess the mechanical and thermal properties of Areca and Basalt fibers that have been reinforced using epoxy and matrix, with and without filler in the form of titanium dioxide powder. The mechanical properties of composites, such as their hardness, tensile, compression, flexural, and impact strengths, are assessed by varying the weight percentage of filler material. TGA, DTG, and DTA thermal properties are also assessed. The composite plate with 10g of TiO­2 powder filer achieved excellent strength.
