Thermal energy storage (TES) technologies are essential for addressing the discrepancies between energy supply and demand, ensuring that energy is available when and where it is needed. This is particularly important in applications where energy production and consumption do not align, such as in solar energy systems, where energy is only available during daylight hours, but demand may extend into the night. TES systems bridge this gap by storing thermal energy during periods of excess and releasing it when demand is high. The implementation of TES enhances the overall efficiency of heating and cooling systems by optimizing energy use and reducing waste
