The rapid growth of counterfeit products has become a serious concern worldwide, affecting consumer trust, brand reputation, and supply chain transparency. To tackle this issue, this paper proposes a blockchain-based fake product detection system that verifies product authenticity and prevents duplication. The system uses the decentralized and tamper-resistant features of blockchain to securely store product information across the supply chain. Each product is assigned a unique digital identity linked to a QR code, which allows consumers or stakeholders to verify authenticity by scanning the code. The system cross-checks the scanned data with blockchain records to identify genuine or counterfeit products. Since blockchain records cannot be altered without consensus, the solution effectively prevents data manipulation. The results demonstrate that the proposed system offers a secure, transparent, and reliable method for product authentication, making it suitable for real-world applications in retail, manufacturing, and supply chain management.
