Financial ratio analysis is a widely used financial management technique for evaluating organizational performance and assessing overall financial health. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of financial ratio analysis in measuring business performance through a descriptive research approach. The study is based entirely on secondary data collected from financial statements and related financial records. Financial ratios are used as analytical tools to interpret and evaluate various dimensions of performance including liquidity, profitability, solvency, and operational efficiency. The descriptive analysis enables systematic examination of financial information without establishing causal relationships, focusing instead on understanding existing financial conditions and performance trends. The findings indicate that financial ratio analysis provides meaningful insights into an organization’s financial strengths and limitations while supporting managerial decision-making and strategic planning. Liquidity ratios help evaluates short-term financial capability, profitability ratios measure earning potential, solvency ratios determine long-term stability, and efficiency ratios assess resource utilization. The study concludes that financial ratio analysis remains an effective and practical approach for evaluating business performance and promoting sustainable organizational growth in a competitive business environment.
