Abstract

Full stack development, as defined is a skill which requires developing and writing software for both the frontend and backend of a web application. However, in recent years full stack development has significantly expanded. Nowadays a full stack software developer is expected to be knowledgeable in a variety of areas, including Web Hosting Platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure and soft skills like Strategic planning, Analytical thinking, Creativity. They also require to master various frameworks. Furthermore, the growth of the of various new technologies such as Augmented Reality, AI/ML, Internet of Things (IoT) are introducing new skill sets. Based on our industry analyses, I will discuss the expectations for a modern full stack developer in this paper.
