Wireless game controllers have become increasingly popular due to their convenience, flexibility, and improved user experience. This paper presents the design and development of a Wireless Game Controller Using the ATMEGA328P Microcontroller. The proposed system is designed to provide smooth and reliable wireless control by combining an ATMEGA328P microcontroller, a joystick module, and an NRF24L01 transceiver module. The joystick captures the user's input, which is processed by the microcontroller and transmitted wirelessly to the receiver with minimal delay. An FTDI module is used for programming and testing the controller during development. The software is developed using the Arduino IDE and Embedded C language to ensure efficient system performance. The proposed controller is simple to build, cost-effective, and energy-efficient, making it suitable for gaming as well as wireless control applications such as robotics and embedded system projects. The experimental results demonstrate stable wireless communication, accurate input detection, and responsive performance, highlighting the effectiveness of the proposed design for practical and educational applications.

This paper presented the design and development of a Wireless Game Controller Using the ATMEGA328P Microcontroller. The proposed system successfully combines a joystick module, ATMEGA328P microcontroller, and NRF24L01 transceiver module to provide reliable and responsive wireless communication. The controller offers smooth operation with low power consumption, making it a practical and cost-effective solution for gaming and other wireless control applications. The project demonstrates how simple embedded system components can be integrated to develop an efficient wireless controller with accurate input detection and stable performance. In addition to gaming, the proposed system has potential applications in robotics, remote-controlled devices, and educational embedded system projects. Overall, the developed controller provides a strong foundation for future improvements and highlights the effectiveness of wireless communication in modern embedded system design.
