Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reflects the monetary value of all goods and services produced within a country’s borders over a specified time period and serves as a fundamental indicator of a nation’s economic health. Traditional methods of estimating GDP—based on production, income, and expenditure—are widely used but may not fully leverage the potential of modern computational tools. With the advancement of artificial intelligence, particularly in predictive modeling, machine learning methods have emerged as effective tools for forecasting economic indicators. This project explores the application of machine learning, specifically Linear Regression, to model and predict GDP trends in India. The results highlight the potential of AI-driven approaches to assist in economic planning and policy-making.
