The Hand Gesture Control Robo Car is an innovative system designed to enable contactless control through intuitive hand gestures. It addresses the limitations of traditional control methods by improving user convenience, accessibility, and safety. The system is built around a Raspberry Pi, which functions as the central processing unit. A camera captures real-time hand movements, and a machine learning model interprets these gestures into control commands. Commands such as forward, backward, left, right, and stop are accurately recognized. These instructions are transmitted to a motor driver to control the DC motors. This ensures smooth and precise movement of the robotic vehicle. The system also integrates a MEMS sensor to detect vibrations or abnormal conditions. In emergency situations, alerts are generated through audio, Email, or Telegram. Overall, the project demonstrates an efficient integration of machine learning and embedded systems for smart and safe robotic control.
